My short film, Centerpiece, sanctions and affirms the ability to have one’s cake and to eat it all. Using the dinner party as a thematic entrypoint I explore how excess, debauchery, and spectacle can become a form of resistance to normative modes of consumption. What is the charge of an empty plate? The gendered implications of paucity and restraint? Can unproductive pleasure be a form of embodied praxis?

“The Things We Bring” is an experimental short that aims to visually illustrate piece of prose. How do our past selves surface, and why? How do we negotiate a dialogue between our different temporal selves?

“Curtain Call” is a promotional video I conceptualized, directed, and edited for Public School Pictures.
